From the Auto Industry to Randy’s

Taylor’s quest to Randy’s did not start in smokeware. He was working in sales in the auto industry when he came across an open role at Randy’s and decided to apply.

 

Not long after, Taylor found himself on the phone with the owner. (If you have ever had the chance to speak with Taylor, you already know his voice tends to leave an impression.) During that first conversation, Brian laughed and told him he had such a “radio voice” that he had to come in for an interview. The rest, as they say, is history.

It is a story Taylor still laughs about, but it also says a lot about how he connects with people. Clear, easy to talk to, and memorable in a way that sticks.


How Taylor Thinks About Helping Shops

When it comes to common challenges, Taylor is quick to point out that most shops are not making mistakes. They are juggling a lot.

When Taylor is not working with shops, there is a good chance he is at a live show or a music festival. Live music is something he rarely skips if he can help it.

His taste spans genres, but one album he always circles back to is Miracle Musical. He describes it as weird, fun, and hauntingly beautiful, which feels pretty on-brand.
